Andrey Rublev won his first ATP Masters 1000 title at the 2023 Monte Carlo Masters, coming back from a set down to defeat Holger Rune. Rublev is a 10-time Grand Slam quarterfinalist and had his best performance at Indian Wells back in 2022 when he reached the semifinals before falling to eventual champion Taylor Fritz. Rublev has won 15 ATP titles and also won the gold medal in mixed doubles at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
