Marcelo Melo is a former World No. 1 in doubles and the only Brazilian player to ever hold the top ranking in ATP doubles. He has won two Grand Slam doubles titles at 2015 Roland-Garros and 2017 Wimbledon, while also finishing runner-up at the BNP Paribas Open in 2017 and 2019. He has won 35 ATP doubles titles, with nine coming at Masters 1000 events.
