The 2022 Eisenhower Cup

Former World No. 1 and Past Champion Naomi Osaka Headlines the Tie Break Tens Event

The Eisenhower Cup returns to the Indian Wells Tennis Garden on 2022 International Women’s Day to kickoff the BNP Paribas Open

Former World No. 1 and 2018 BNP Paribas Open champion Naomi Osaka will headline the 2022 Eisenhower Cup – a one-night $150,000 winner-take-all Tie Break Tens event to take place at 7:30pm on Tuesday, March 8 under the lights of Stadium 2 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. The Eisenhower Cup returns to the Indian Wells Tennis Garden after a successful debut in 2019. This year’s iteration of the event will take place on International Women’s Day and feature many of the biggest names on the WTA Tour.

The 2022 Eisenhower Cup will feature defending BNP Paribas Open champion Paula Badosa and 2015 champion Simona Halep, World No. 4 and World No. 27 respectively, as well as World No. 3 Aryna Sabalenka. World No. 6 Maria Sakkari; World No. 10 Ons Jabeur; 2-Time WTA Tour Titlist Amanda Anisimova, and 19-year-old phenom and 2021 US Open finalist Leylah Fernandez will also compete in the charity event.

Match 1: Sabalenka vs Halep
Match 2: Jabeur vs Sakkari
Match 3: Badosa vs Fernandez
Match 4: Anisimova vs Osaka

Semifinal #1: Winner of Jabeur/Sakkar vs. Winner of Sabalenka/Halep
Semifinal #2: Winner of Badosa/Fernandez vs. Winner of Anisimova/Osaka

Final: Semifinal #1 Winner vs. Semifinal #2 Winner

All Tickets $25; Proceeds to Benefit Local Women’s Charitable Organizations

  • Where: Indian Wells Tennis Garden, Stadium 2
  • Time: 7:30pm (Entry to Stadium 2 begins at 7:00pm)
  • Prize Money: $150,000 (winner-take-all)
  • Confirmed Players: Naomi Osaka, Aryna Sabalenka, Paula Badosa, Maria Sakkari, Ons Jabeur, Simona Halep, Amanda Anisimova, Leylah Fernandez
  • Please Note: Limit four (4) tickets per customer. Any additional tickets may be cancelled.

The fast-paced, innovative Tie Break Tens format consists of first to ten-point tie break matches. The event will be an eight-player single elimination draw, with a total of seven matches being held during the course of the evening.
