Former University of Texas at Austin star Peyton Stearns enjoyed a 2023 year that saw her achieve her best Grand Slam finish in the fourth round of the US Open. She subsequently broke into the Top 50 of the singles rankings for the first time in her career and later had her first visits to Roland-Garros and Wimbledon. The three-time All-American former Longhorn is the first player in the program's history to win an NCAA Singles crown. 2024 will be the American’s second appearance in the BNP Paribas Open.
