Thirteen Americans will take part in the BNP Paribas Open women’s qualifying draw, which starts Monday at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.
Madison Brengle, the No. 5 seed, is the highest-ranked among them.
Kateryna Kozlova, a Ukrainian ranked No. 62 in the world, is the top seed.
Two rounds of qualifying on Monday and Tuesday will produce 12 qualifiers for the 96-player field, with the main draw starting on Wednesday.
Other notable players include 2010 French Open champion Francesca Schiavone, 2015 US Open runner-up Roberta Vinci, 2013 Wimbledon finalist Sabine Lisicki and former top 10 player Andrea Petkovic.
