Rafael Nadal vs Jared Donaldson: Three-time BNP Paribas Open champion Rafael Nadal will get his tournament underway on Sunday evening, playing on the main court of his most successful hard-court Masters 1000 event. Across from the Spaniard will be 22-year-old American Jared Donaldson, who hasn’t played a professional match since mid-summer last season due to injury. The action kicks off Sunday’s night session on Stadium 1.

5.

Ashleigh Barty vs Jennifer Brady: In the final match of the evening on Stadium 1, Americans Jennifer Brady and Australian Ashleigh Barty will go to battle for a spot in the fourth round. Following a quarter-final finish at the Australian Open on top of winning her biggest career title at the WTA Elite Trophy to end last season, Barty finds herself just on the cusp of the WTA’s Top 10. Brady has been on a tear at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden this year, making a run to the final of the WTA 125K event held the week prior to the main event. Taking advantage of a wild card into the main draw, she defeated qualifier Nao Hibino in the first round and No. 19 seed Caroline Garcia in the second, booking a date with Barty under the lights on Sunday.
