Five Things to Watch on Tuesday at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden

Making the Draw, ATP Tour Edition: The 2022 BNP Paribas Open men’s main draw will be made in Stadium Plaza at 3:00pm on Tuesday, and we guarantee that you won’t want to miss this presentation of all of the exciting matchups to come over the next two weeks. The road to Tennis Paradise glory starts here, as the pathways to the title for our men’s competitors will officially be revealed.

Practice Courts in Paradise: Men’s and women’s superstars are arriving in the desert, with the likes of Rafael Nadal, Naomi Osaka and more already making their way to the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. There’s no better place than the Tennis Paradise practice courts for for fans to get behind-the-scenes access, as the opportunities are endless to encounter tennis’ hottest rising stars and most legendary icons.

ATP Tour Qualifying: Join us on Tuesday for the first day of 2022 ATP Tour qualifying play, to see which aspiring men’s tennis stars secure their chance to play in this year’s BNP Paribas Open men’s main draw. Even better yet, admission is free and no ticket is required to enter the grounds!

Top WTA Qualifying Match: Two of the biggest names in the WTA qualifying draw, Kirsten Flipkens and Caty McNally, will face off on Tuesday with a chance to enter the women’s main draw on the line. Whoever wins this matchup will undoubtedly be a name to watch this week, as both the crafty Belgian veteran Flipkens and American doubles star McNally are used to performing under the bright lights on some of the sport’s biggest stages.

Top ATP Qualifying Match: 3rd seeded men’s wild card Holger Rune will take on American staltwart Mitchell Krueger on Tuesday in Tennis Paradise, in a matchup that has all the makings of a multi-hour battle. Rune is just 18-years-old, but already the Danish No. 1 and has shown all the makings of a future star, while Krueger is a proven veteran who can never be counted out against tough competition.
