INDIAN WELLS, Calif., September 27, 2021 – The Indian Wells Tennis Garden, home of the BNP Paribas Open – a combined mandatory ATP Masters 1000 and WTA 1000 event to be held October 4-17 – has partnered with CLEAR, the secure identity company, to facilitate the implementation of the venue’s mandatory vaccination policy ahead of the 2021 tournament.
In order to provide one of the most safe and secure experiences at a sporting event to date, all fans are required to show valid proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 in order to enter the Indian Wells Tennis Garden for the 2021 BNP Paribas Open. The team at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden has been in continuous consultation with a committee of expert advisors, including medical professionals and government officials, who have provided these guidelines for entry to the venue based on the current conditions surrounding COVID-19.
To facilitate the implementation of these requirements, the Indian Wells Tennis Garden has selected CLEAR as the preferred health verification vendor of the venue. CLEAR’s Health Pass is a free, mobile experience on the CLEAR app and will provide all US-based fans with a secure, seamless way to upload the necessary health documentation for entry into the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. To create a CLEAR Health Pass, click HERE and download the free CLEAR app. A similar process will be in place for international fans.
