China’s Xinyu Wang enters the BNP Paribas Open for the fourth time following a career-best finish in the third round last year. Her performance was one of multiple career-best tournament outings in 2023, including three of four Grand Slams, which helped vault her into the Top 50 for the first time with a career-high No. 32 ranking achieved in October 2023. Wang also claimed the 2023 Roland-Garros doubles title with Su-Wei Hsieh.
