Xiyu Wang won her maiden WTA singles title in 2023 at the Guangzhou Open. 2024 will mark Wang’s second appearance in the main draw at Indian Wells. She owns a career-best No. 49 singles ranking achieved in January 2023. Wang is also a former junior World No. 1 and junior Grand Slam champion at the 2018 US Open.
