Top WTA Seeds Debut in Second Round:

A thrilling first-round of WTA action has concluded, which means it’s time for the seeded players to take the court as second round actions gets underway in Tennis Paradise. The Friday WTA slate will be headlined by a number of former Grand Slam winners as Iga Swiatek, Garbine Muguruza, Simona Halep and Emma Raducanu all look to get off to a hot start at the BNP Paribas Open. Fans with Stadium 1 tickets can also catch 17-year-old American phenom Coco Gauff in action on Friday as she squares off against Southern California native Claire Liu under the lights in the first match of the night session.

Andy Murray Kicks Off Friday Slate on Stadium 1:

The first match of the day on Stadium 1 will feature one of the great male tennis players of all time. Three-time Grand Slam winner Andy Murray will headline the final day of ATP first round play as he squares off against qualifier Taro Daniel, who knocked out Murray in the second round of the Australian Open earlier this year. The legendary Murray has no shortage of accomplishments in his career, but will have his sights set on a first-ever title in Tennis Paradise to add to his already robust trophy case. He’ll have his hands full right off the bat with Daniel as Murray seeks to avenge his January loss in Melbourne.

Kokkinakis/Kyrgios Doubles in Stadium 2: The 2022 Australian Open Men’s Doubles Champions of Thanasi Kokkinakis and Nick Kyrgios received a wild card entry into the BNP Paribas Open, and fans are not going to want to miss their doubles debut in Tennis Paradise. The Aussie duo electrified the crowds down under with every match during their title run in January, so head over to Stadium 2 to catch the thrilling action as they kick off the Friday evening session.

Bryan Bros. Band Rings in First Weekend in Tennis Paradise:

The iconic Bryan Bros. Brand is back and ready to bring down the house at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden for yet another year! The most successful men’s doubles pairing in the history of the sport will take to the Village Stage from 4:30pm-6:30pm on Friday evening to welcome in the middle weekend of the BNP Paribas Open with an electric musical performance. Make sure to snag your spot near the stage early as the Bryan Bros. Band draws massive crowds every year!
