Tennis Paradise is back, and thousands of fans from around the world have already begun making their way to the beautiful Coachella Valley for the 2022 BNP Paribas Open, set to take place on March 7-20.

While the thrilling on-court action promises to excite as always, fans can also look forward to a variety of festivities set to take place before and during this year’s tournament. Check out our full slate of on-site activities, and keep reading to explore some of the many highlights set to greet fans at the 2022 BNP Paribas Open.

Tennis Paradise Greets Fans With Entertainment on the Village Stage

The on-court action is just the tip of the iceberg at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, as fans can look forward to a number of live music performances and Tennis Talk discussions set to take place throughout the tournament at the Village Stage. From DJs to the annual fan-favorite Bryan Bros. Band, and industry experts, the stage will be rocking with great performers and in-depth discussions during both weekends of the tournament. Eisenhower Cup, Bank of the West Radio, other fan favorites set to return in 2022

Tennis Paradise is back in the beautiful Southern California springtime for the first time since 2019, and fans can expect the return of some quintessential BNP Paribas Open attractions at this year’s event. There are plenty of new fan activities to highlight in 2022, but let’s start by reviewing some of the classics that are set to return this year.

Those eager to catch a taste of professional tennis before the tournament main draw begins can look forward to the Eisenhower Cup – a one-night Tie Break Tens event taking place under the lights of Stadium 2 on Tuesday March 8. Former World No. 1 and 2018 BNP Paribas Open Champion Naomi Osaka will headline the event, which will take place on International Women’s Day and feature additional WTA Tour stars including 2021 champ Paula Badosa, World No. 2 Aryna Sabalenka, rising sensation Leylah Fernandez and more! Tickets to the event are only $25, and all proceeds benefit local women’s charitable organizations.

Eisenhower Cup Tickets

Any BNP Paribas Open veteran knows that the fan experience in Tennis Paradise is not complete without Bank of the West Radio. This popular on-site attraction will return in 2022 as Bank of the West once again gives fans the opportunity to listen to live play-by-play and additional commentary for free. Be sure to snag your radio early on in the day. as supplies are limited in handed out on a first-come, first-serve basis!

The tournament will once again allow fans to participate live in the ‘Making of the Draw’ as the WTA (March 7) and ATP (March 8) conduct the main draw for the BNP Paribas Open from Stadium Plaza at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. New for 2022, each Making of the Draw session will be accompanied by a special pre-draw Q&A event featuring some of the brightest young stars of both the WTA and ATP tour.

World-Class Dining Options, Moët and more on the menu in 2022

Fans making their way to Tennis Paradise can indulge in endless delicious food and drink options as they soak in the idyllic springtime weather of the Coachella Valley. Möet & Chandon, the Official Champagne Partner of the BNP Paribas Open, will continue to quench the thirst of fans with the luxurious Circles of Palms Lounge staged in the center of the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. The champagne flows throughout the day and into the night here in Tennis Paradise.

World-class Japanese restaurant Nobu will once again greet fans at their restaurant overlooking Stadium 2, while fan favorites such as Fresh Agave and Fuku fried chicken will be back as well. Local Palm Desert favorite Ristorante Mamma Gina will be featured on-site as a new restaurant for 2022, as their delicious Italian cuisine will replace the former Spago location overlooking Stadium 1. Also new for 2022, BBQ has made its way onto the tournament menu, as The Que is an all-new on-site concession that will be serving up authentic smokey dishes to hungry fans throughout the tournament.

What else is new in 2022?

The BNP Paribas Open is excited to introduce a number of other new initiatives for the 2022 iteration of the tournament.

As part of our ongoing commitment to prioritizing health and safety, the BNP Paribas Open has launched two programs aimed at rewarding fans who share our mission of combatting the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Our COVID-19 Booster Incentive Program will give fans who have received a booster shot the chance to win a $500 VISA gift card, and the tournament will also welcome children back to the Indian Wells Tennis Garden by offering free grounds passes to full vaccinated kids ages 5-12. Fans on-site can also expect to see heightened sustainability measures and environmental awareness around the Indian Wells Tennis Garden this spring. We urge our fans to learn more about our ongoing commitment to building a Sustainable Tennis Paradise and committing to eco-friendly practices in their own communities as well.

Throughout the tournament, fans can enjoy a number of special activations and giveaways courtesy of our generous partners, including City of Indian Wells Day (Thursday, March 10); Masimo Day (Friday, March 11); Emirates Day (Saturday, March 12); FILA Day (Sunday, March 13) Motorola Day (Monday, March 14); Steve Furgal’s International Tennis Tours Day (Friday, March 17); Bank of the West Day (Saturday, March 19); and BNP Paribas Championship Weekend (Saturday, March 19 – Sunday, March 20).
