Alexander Blockx qualified for the 2025 Next Gen ATP Finals and advanced to the final, falling to Learner Tien in a rematch of 2023 Australian Open final in juniors. In 2025, the Belgian earned his first ATP Tour win in Cincinnati as a qualifier and won Challenger titles in Oeiras and Bratislava. In January 2026 he broke into the Top 100 for the first time, rising to a career-high No. 95 after winning his fourth Challenger title in Canberra, and he made his Grand Slam main-draw debut at the Australian Open as a lucky loser.
