2020 Tokyo Olympic gold medalist Alexander Zverev achieved a career-best World No. 2 ranking in June 2022 and had a year-end best No. 3 finish in 2021. After suffering an ankle injury in his 2022 Roland-Garros semifinal match against Rafael Nadal, Zverev returned to the Top 10 in 2023 and qualified for his sixth Nitto ATP Finals. In those ATP Finals, he won titles twice – 2018 and 2021 – and his first Grand Slam final came at the 2020 US Open.
