Amanda Anisimova enjoyed a breakout 2025 season, reaching her first two Grand Slam finals at Wimbledon and the US Open, where she lost to Iga Swiatek and Aryna Sabalenka, respectively. She finished the year at a career-high ranking of No. 4, one spot behind fellow American Coco Gauff. Her best result at Indian Wells remains a fourth-round showing in her tournament debut in 2018, and she’ll look to improve on that in 2026 with a backhand widely regarded as the best on the women’s tour.
