Andrey Rublev won his first ATP Masters 1000 title at the 2023 Monte Carlo Masters, and then won his second a year later at the 2024 Madrid Open. Rublev is a 10-time Grand Slam quarterfinalist, and has remained ranked in the Top 10 since September 2022. His best performance at Indian Wells came in 2022 was when he reached the semifinal before falling to eventual champion Taylor Fritz. Rublev enters Indian Wells off the back of a 500-level title at the Qatar Open, which marked his 17th career ATP title.
