After a professional career of 15 years, Arantxa Rus enjoyed a 2023 campaign which saw her win her maiden singles title at the Hamburg European Open. A month later, Rus broke into the Top 50 of the singles rankings for the first time in August, reaching a peak of No. 41. Her best Grand Slam finish came when she reached the fourth round at Roland-Garros in 2012.
