Arthur Cazaux credits his lively serve to seven years of playing handball as a kid. The Frenchman had his breakout at the 2024 Australian Open when he charged into the fourth round on his tournament debut, defeating World No. 8 Holger Rune en route. He won 10 matches that year and 16 in 2025, when he reached World No. 58. He reached his first ATP final last year in Kitzbuehel, falling to Alexander Bublik, who also beat him the previous week in the Gstaad semifinals. Cazaux will make his main-draw debut in Indian Wells this year after falling in qualifying the past two seasons.
