The 2023 & 2024 Australian Open singles champion, Aryna Sabalenka returns to Indian Wells after a runner-up singles finish last year and a doubles title in the desert alongside Elise Mertens in 2019. Sabalenka’s run to the 2023 US Open Final propelled her to the World No. 1 ranking for the first time in her career in September of 2023. Sabalenka is also a two-time Grand Slam doubles champion at the 2019 US Open and 2021 Australian Open.
