American teenager Ashlyn Krueger has qualified for the first round the last three years in Indian Wells and won her maiden WTA title at the 2023 Japan Women’s Open. Krueger has begun 2024 strong earning her first main draw victory in a WTA 1000 event and her second Top 25 win by beating Caroline Garcia at the Dubai Tennis Championships in February.
