Long Beach native Asia Muhammad returns to Indian Wells in 2026 as the defending champion but with a different partner. Last year she partnered Demi Schuurs to the title but this year steps on court with Luisa Stefani. Muhammad has won 13 doubles titles and also reached the BNP Paribas Open final in 2022 and the semifinals in 2024, making Tennis Paradise her happiest hunting ground. She also won the Queen’s title in 2025 with Schuurs.
