Ben Shelton‘s successful 2025 season began by matching his career‑best Grand Slam finish, reaching the semifinals at the Australian Open. In August, he won the biggest title of his career, hoisting his first 1000-level title in Toronto, which ignited his rise to a career-high ranking of No. 6. The Atlanta native first broke through on Tour at the 2023 US Open, where he advanced to the semifinal in just his second year of competing professionally. Before turning pro in June 2022, Shelton played for the University of Florida, where he captured the 2022 NCAA men’s singles title and the 2021 NCAA men’s team title.
