A mainstay on the WTA for over two decades, 2016 Indian Wells doubles champion Bethanie Mattek-Sands returns to the BNP Paribas Open for a 16th appearance. The Minnesota native boasts nine Grand Slam titles (five in women’s doubles and four in mixed doubles) in addition to a gold medal in mixed doubles from the 2016 Olympics. A former No. 1 doubles player in the world, Mattek-Sands claimed her 30th doubles title after winning the 2024 Miami Open, her seventh 1000-level title.
