Brandon Nakashima won the 2022 Next Gen ATP Finals championship and owns one ATP Tour title from his hometown tournament at the 2022 San Diego Open. Nakashima saw Grand Slam success in 2024, matching his best Major finish with a fourth round run at Roland Garros, which he did last at 2022 Wimbledon. He played college tennis at the University of Virginia, where in his only season he was the ACC Freshman of the Year and All-ACC First Team before turning pro.
