Illinois native Caroline Dolehide comes off a 2023 season which saw her finish runner-up at the Guadalajara 1000 event for the best finish of her career. The performance was just the eighth time a player reached a WTA 1000 semifinal with a ranking outside of the Top 100. After this tournament, Dolehide rose to a career-best No. 41 singles ranking.
