Cristina Bucsa made major breakthroughs in women’s doubles in 2024, winning four WTA titles, including her maiden WTA 1000 at the Madrid Open, and winning a bronze medal for Spain at the 2024 Paris Olympics. She also reached a Grand Slam quarterfinal for the first time at the 2024 Australian Open. In singles, Bucsa entered the Top 100 for the first time in 2023 and had her best performance at a Grand Slam reaching the third round at the Australian Open.
