In 2018, Daria Kasatkina reached her first WTA 1000 final at the BNP Paribas Open, falling to fellow 20-year-old Naomi Osaka. Since then, she has made three Grand Slam quarterfinals, including the semifinals of 2022 Roland Garros, and climbed as high as No. 8 in the world. She owns eight career titles, six of them at the WTA 500 level, and while she didn’t add to that total in 2025, the Aussie did reach the fourth round at both the Australian Open and Roland Garros.
