Denis Shapovalov doubled his career ATP title count in 2025, winning two titles in Dallas and Los Cabos. In 2020 he became the first Canadian men’s singles quarterfinalist at the US Open. The left-hander’s first Grand Slam semifinal appearance came the following year at Wimbledon where he defeated two-time champion Andy Murray along the way. Shapovalov also upset No. 2 Rafael Nadal in the quarterfinals of the 2017 Montreal Open, and is just one of three Canadian men to have been ranked in the ATP Top 10.
