Donna Vekic reached the round of 16 at the Australian Open in 2025 and made the quarterfinals in Chennai, along with round-of-16 finishes at Indian Wells and Madrid. She has won four WTA singles titles: Monterrey (2023), Courmayeur (2021), Nottingham (2017) and Kuala Lumpur (2014). In 2024, after over a decade on Tour, Vekic made her biggest breakthrough on Tour by reaching the semifinals at 2024 Wimbledon. Later that summer, Vekic represented Croatia in the Paris 2024 Olympics, winning the silver medal for her country in singles. She also achieved her career-best ranking of No. 18 in 2024.
