After over a decade on Tour, Donna Vekic made her biggest breakthrough on Tour by reaching the semifinals at 2024 Wimbledon. Later that summer, Vekic represented Croatia in the Paris 2024 Olympics, winning the silver medal for her country in singles. She also achieved her career-best ranking of No. 18 in 2024.
