Francesca Jones was born with Ectrodactyly Ectodermal Dysplasia (EED) syndrome, a rare genetic condition that left her missing one finger on each hand and three toes and has required frequent surgeries over the years. But it hasn’t stopped her from reaching the Top 100, winning her first two WTA 125 titles and making her US Open debut in 2025. Self-described as “gritty,” she has lived up to the label.
