Francisco Cerundolo won 18 matches at ATP Masters 1000 level last year, the fifth-best mark on tour. His return to the Top 20 last season was due in large part to back-to-back quarter-finals in Indian Wells and Miami and a semi-final showing in Madrid. The Buenos Aires native, who played college tennis at the University of South Carolina, is a former World No. 18 who has won 35 or more matches each of the past three seasons. His brother, Juan Manuel, is also a pro. Cerundolo first broke out at the 2022 Miami Open, reaching his first ATP Masters semifinal when ranked No. 103.
