Francisco Cerundolo claimed the ATP 250 title in Buenos Aires in February, atoning for final defeats in 2021 and '25. Cerundolo won 18 matches at ATP Masters 1000 level last year, the fifth-best mark on tour. His return to the Top 20 last season was due in large part to back-to-back quarter-finals in Indian Wells and Miami and a semi-final showing in Madrid. The Buenos Aires native, who played college tennis at the University of South Carolina, is a former World No. 18 who has won 35 or more matches each of the past three seasons. His brother, Juan Manuel, is also a pro. Cerundolo first broke out at the 2022 Miami Open, reaching his first ATP Masters semifinal when ranked No. 103.
