Canadian Gabriel Diallo played college tennis at the University of Kentucky, where he was a two-time All-American that helped the Wildcats reach their first-ever NCAA Championship match as a team in 2023. Also in 2023, he represented Canada at the Davis Cup, where he upset World No. 18 Lorenzo Musetti in straight sets to give Canada the victory over Italy. Diallo reached the third round at the 2024 US Open in his tournament debut, and started the 2025 season winning a first career match at the Australian Open.
