Gael Monfils is a two-time Grand Slam semifinalist and has been ranked as high as No. 6 in his career. He enters Indian Wells with a string of solid performances to start the 2025 season. The 38-year-old started the year off by picking up his 13th ATP title at the Auckland Open, becoming the oldest man to win an ATP title. Shortly after, he reached the fourth round of the Australian Open, upsetting No. 4 Taylor Fritz in the third round. The Frenchman qualified for the 2016 ATP Finals and finished that year ranked in the Top 10 (at No. 7). His career win total on the ATP Tour is Top 50 all-time and one of the highest of any active player.
