Holger Rune is the highest-ranked male Danish player in history, reaching a career-high of World No. 4 in August 2023. He broke through on Tour when he captured the 2022 Paris Masters 1000 title, defeating Novak Djokovic in the final at age 19. Rune has reached three Grand Slam quarterfinals and also achieved his best finish at Indian Wells in 2024 where he reached the quarterfinals.
