Jelena Ostapenko is a Grand Slam singles and doubles champion. She captured the 2017 Roland-Garros singles title, and most recently had her biggest breakthrough in doubles winning the 2024 US Open. She is the first Latvian player to win a Grand Slam singles and doubles crown. Ostapenko’s best finish at the BNP Paribas Open came in 2021 when she reached the semifinals.
