Teenager Joao Fonseca is one of the hottest young stars on the ATP Tour with a passionate fan base in Brazil already rivaling that of Gustavo Kuerten at his peak. After winning the 2024 Next Gen ATP Finals, Fonseca won titles last year in Buenos Aires and Basel to finish the year at No. 24 in the ATP Rankings after a 26-match win season. His victory in BA made him the youngest South American tournament winner since 1990.
