Karolina Muchova snapped a six-year drought before her first and second titles when she defeated Victoria Mboko to win the WTA 1000 title in Doha in February. The Czech is considered one of the most talented players on tour when healthy, and no season showed that more clearly than 2023, when she reached her first Grand Slam final at Roland Garros and pushed Iga Swiatek to three sets before falling in the championship match. That same year, she posted her best result at Indian Wells, making her first quarterfinal before losing to Rybakina. Her 2025 highlights included a quarterfinal run at the US Open and a semifinal appearance in Dubai. The former World No. 8's first title came in Seoul in 2019.
