Northern California native Katie Volynets reached the third round at the 2024 BNP Paribas Open. She reached the quarterfinals in Auckland and Guangzhou in 2025 and advanced to the finals of the WTA 125 events in Oeiras and Suzhou. She won her first WTA 125 singles title in Makarska (2024).
