Luca Van Assche returned to the Top 100 of the PIF ATP Rankings for the first time in 21 months following his late February triumph at the ATP Challenger event in Lille, France. Van Assche is the first player to win five titles at Challenger 125-level, a category that was introduced in 2019. Van Assche, who has been as high as No. 63 in the ATP Rankings, first cracked the Top 100 following his title at the 2023 Sanremo Challenger. In 2023 and 2024 he reached the semifinals of the Next Gen ATP Finals.
