Brazil’s Luisa Stefani returns to the Indian Wells women’s doubles draw after reaching the quarterfinal in each of her first two appearances. The 2023 Australian Open mixed doubles champion, Luisa is the first Brazilian woman to reach the WTA Top 10 rankings (singles or doubles) and earned Brazil’s first tennis Olympic medals with a bronze in women's doubles from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. She also holds two WTA 1000 doubles titles, and has reached the US Open women’s doubles semifinal twice. Stefani attended Pepperdine University where she was a three-time All-American.
