Former men’s doubles World No. 1 Marcelo Melo made his Indian Wells debut in 2008, and the two-time finalist returns to the desert for his sixteenth career appearance. Among his 39 career ATP titles, the Brazilian has won two Grand Slams (2015 Roland Garros and 2017 Wimbledon) and nine ATP Masters 1000 titles. He heads into Indian Wells off the back of a title run at the 2025 Rio Open.
