Marketa Vondrousova has reached the Round of 16 four times at Indian Wells and posted a career-best finish as a quarterfinalist in 2019. Vondrousova won her maiden Grand Slam title at Wimbledon in 2023, climbed to a career-best No. 6 singles ranking, and made her first WTA Finals appearance. Representing the Czech Republic, Vondrousova also won an Olympic silver medal in women’s singles at the Tokyo Olympics.
