One of many talented teens on the WTA Tour, Maya Joint won her first two WTA singles titles in 2025 in Rabat and Eastbourne. In Eastbourne, she saved four championship points before beating Alexandra Eala 12-10 in a third-set tie-break. She made her Indian Wells debut last year after advancing through qualifying, falling in the first round to Sorana Cirstea. Though she lost in the 2026 Australian Open first round, she became the first Australian woman to be seeded there since her idol Ashleigh Barty in 2022.
