Miomir Kecmanovic has had success at Indian Wells, reaching the quarterfinal in 2019 as a Lucky Loser and then again in 2022. En route to his quarterfinal appearance in 2022, he recorded one of the biggest wins of his career in the fourth round over No. 6 Matteo Berrettini. At the 2024 Australian Open, Kecmanovic reached a career-best fourth round in Slam for the second time before falling to No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz in four sets.
