Mirra Andreeva makes her Indian Wells debut as the reigning WTA Newcomer of the Year. The 16-year-old burst onto the scene at 2023 Wimbledon with a fourth round appearance and followed that up with another fourth round showing at this year’s Australian Open. With this feat, Andreeva is just the fourth player in the last 30 years to reach the fourth round at two Grand Slams before turning 17.
