Player Overview

Peyton Stearns became the first Texas player to win the NCAA Division I women’s singles national title in 2022 and has continued to build on that success as a pro. She reached the fourth round of the US Open in 2023 and won her first WTA title in Rabat in 2024. In 2025, she delivered her strongest WTA 1000 showing by reaching the semifinals in Rome, where she fell to eventual champion Jasmine Paolini. She owns a career-high ranking of No. 28 and has reached the second round twice at Indian Wells.
