Coming from a tennis background, Sebastian Korda is no stranger to professional tennis – Korda’s father, Petr, peaked at No. 2 on the ATP Tour, and his mother at No. 26 for the WTA. Just two years after turning pro, Sebastian advanced to the 2020 Roland-Garros fourth round, and then later to the 2021 Wimbledon fourth round, making him just the third men’s player in the Open Era to reach round four in their debut at both Slams. 2023 saw him reach his first Slam quarterfinal, where he defeated Daniil Medvedev at the Australian Open.
