China’s Shuai Zhang is set to make an 11th career appearance at Indian Wells in 2024. Despite a 2023 season cut short due to injury, the year saw her reach a career high No. 22 in the WTA singles rankings following a fourth round finish at the Australian Open. A two-time Grand Slam doubles champion (2019 Australian Open & 2021 U.S Open), Zhang also won the 2023 Abu Dhabi doubles title alongside Luisa Stefani in February 2023.
