2020 Australian Open champion and former World No. 4 Sofia Kenin enters the BNP Paribas Open main draw for the seventh time in her career. Kenin is also a former Roland-Garros finalist (2020) and was named the 2020 WTA Player of the Year. At the 2025 Dubai Tennis Championships, Kenin reached her first WTA 1000 quarterfinal since 2023.
