Former World No. 1 doubles player Storm Hunter won the inaugural BNP Paribas Open mixed doubles title in 2024, while also reaching the women’s doubles final. The Aussie holds nine WTA doubles titles, as well as a mixed doubles grand slam title at the 2022 US Open. She also picked up her fourth WTA 1000 doubles title at the 2024 Dubai Tennis Championships, and recorded her best Grand Slam singles performance when she reached the third round at the 2024 Australian Open. Last year she won one title (Wuhan) with Siniakova.
